The app

Reddit monitoring that finds the threads worth answering

Reddit monitoring tools are good at one thing: telling you a keyword appeared. Our app watches the subreddits and keywords you pick, scores each new thread on how well it fits your product, and drafts a reply in your voice. You edit it and post it from your own account. The app never posts for you.

Why keyword alerts aren't enough

Founders on Reddit say the same thing about most monitoring tools: the alert is the easy part.

"Trackers are great at finding threads where someone matches your keyword. Theyre useless at telling you if its a real lead or someone venting." u/Significant-Young586 in r/SaaS, April 2026

"the biggest thing I missed wasn't the searching part, it was that I had no way to actually act on what I found" u/mahijendra in r/SaaS, a former GummySearch user, August 2026

So after the alert, the app filters the threads, ranks them and helps you answer.

Reddit monitoring options, compared

Here are four common options next to ours, described from each tool's own site as we read it on 1 November 2026.

Tool What it does Who it suits
F5Bot Free email alerts when a keyword appears on Reddit, Hacker News or Lobsters. Paid tiers add more keywords, AI filtering and Slack. Anyone who just wants to know when a word shows up
Syften Keyword alerts across Reddit and other communities, with AI filtering and an API. Monitoring only. Teams watching several communities at once
Octolens Social listening across socials, communities, media and reviews, with an API and webhooks. Brands tracking mentions everywhere, not just Reddit
Brand24 Full social listening suite with a dedicated Reddit monitoring page. Marketing teams that need reports across every channel
Our app Watches the subreddits and keywords you choose, ranks each thread by fit, drafts a reply you post yourself. SaaS teams who want to answer threads, not just count them

If an alert is all you need, start with F5Bot or our free Reddit keyword alerts. The full list, with what Reddit users praise and complain about and each tool's published prices, is in the Reddit marketing tools ledger. We also compare Pulse for Reddit, Syften and F5Bot one at a time.

What it does

  • Watches your subreddits and keywords. Add your product's site and the app suggests subreddits and keywords to start with. Add exclusions for words that only bring noise.
  • Ranks threads by fit. Each new thread shows why it matched and a fit score, so you start with the person asking for a tool like yours instead of the person venting.
  • Drafts replies in your voice. Drafts follow the subreddit's rules and a voice profile built from your own Reddit history. You edit, then post yourself.
  • Keeps your account healthy. It tracks karma history and account age and gives new accounts a warm-up plan, so you don't post from an account Reddit's filters will hide.
  • Flags rule changes. When a subreddit you watch changes its rules, you hear about it before your next post gets removed.
  • Sends alerts where you work. Email, Slack or Telegram, plus a lead list you can export to CSV, so it doubles as a Reddit lead generation tool.

What it won't do

  • Post, comment, vote or send DMs for you.
  • Run more than your own accounts.
  • Buy accounts, karma or upvotes.

Those shortcuts get accounts banned. They're also why Reddit users have started naming tools when they call out comment spam.

How it works

  1. Add your product. Paste your site. The app reads it and suggests subreddits and keywords.
  2. Review the threads. New matches arrive ranked, with the reason each one matched.
  3. Answer the good ones. Open a draft, make it yours, post it from your account, and mark it done.

Try it before you sign up

The free Reddit thread finder runs the same search once. Describe what you sell and see recent threads where people are asking for it. You can then turn those keywords into a daily email alert.

Questions

Is this a Reddit bot?

No. Nothing gets posted without you. The app finds and ranks threads and writes drafts. You post from your own account.

Will using it get my account banned?

Reading Reddit doesn't put an account at risk. Posting habits are what get accounts banned: too much self-promotion, new accounts dropping links, coordinated votes. The app helps with the first two by following each subreddit's rules and tracking your account's warm-up. What you post is still your call.

How is this different from F5Bot or Syften?

Those send an alert when a keyword appears, and F5Bot is free. If an alert is all you need, use them. This app is for when you want threads ranked by fit and a draft ready to edit. There's a longer comparison in the Reddit marketing tools ledger.

Does it work for any subreddit?

It works on public subreddits. It can't read private or banned communities.
